Air & Auto Classic Charity Car Show

Cars and vintage aircraft share the Military Aviation Museum grounds at 1341 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach. Air & Auto Classic began in 2010 after a smaller neighborhood-park show outgrew its site, and the museum collection became the backdrop. All makes and models are welcome, from street rods, rat rods, and muscle cars to race cars, sports cars, late-model vehicles, and motorcycles, and entrants have come from Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, and across Virginia. A DJ, a live broadcast, and live music run with the judging. More than 1,350 cars and trucks have been entered for judging since the first show, and more than 3,000 spectator vehicles have joined.

Our take: Walk the vintage aircraft and the car rows in one loop; the museum collection is why the show sits here.
