About this event
The West Texas BBQ Bash in Monahans pairs a CBA-sanctioned four-meat cook-off, with company cook teams and a Kids Q, with a car show of cars, trucks and bikes from around Texas. Kids get face painting and inflatables, and a music festival runs from midday into the night with Chris Deanda, Los Dudes, Jerry Hart, Clay Creek, Jesse Joe and Kody West. The Bash started as a way for the oil and gas industry to help feed vulnerable neighbors in West Texas and raise money for Ward County's Toys for Tots.
Our take: Come hungry: People's Choice BBQ sampling lets you taste the teams' entries and vote for a favorite.
Parking
West 10th Street and S. Helen Ave., Monahans.
