Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld San Antonio

Howl-O-Scream turns SeaWorld San Antonio into a sinister Halloween version of the park on select dates. The park address is 10500 SeaWorld Drive. The overlay sits on grounds that still hold roller coasters, animal encounters with dolphins, penguins, and sharks, and shows that mix whale presentations with sea-lion comedy. A separate daytime event, Spooktacular, is the family trick-or-treat and character side of the same stretch. For the scream event itself, the draw is the after-dark transformation of the park.

Our take: Treat Howl-O-Scream as the after-dark haunt and Spooktacular as the daytime character event if you are sorting the two.
