Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo

Heart O' Texas Fair and Rodeo is held at the Extraco Events Center, 4601 Bosque Boulevard in Waco. Gate admission covers attractions such as the Kids Zone and Hot Shops Marketplace, plus entertainment on the ZiegenBock Music Stage and the Hometown Stage. The One HOT Rodeo inside Extraco Coliseum runs PRCA Permit Finals, Texas Circuit Finals, Texas Chute Out, and Extreme Bulls, with reserved seats sold separately and a rodeo ticket that also includes gate admission. Other draws include mutton bustin', a calf scramble, and cook-offs. Magic Money wristbands use an RFID chip that can be reloaded at kiosks and stations on the grounds. Sneak-A-Peek Night is the early look before regular gates.

Our take: Buy the rodeo ticket if you want the coliseum show, since it includes gate admission and seats are reserved.
