About this event

Walden Pumpkin Farm is a family-run fall farm at 8653 Rocky Fork Road in Smyrna, on 265 acres between Rutherford and Williamson counties. The family bought the land in 1986, planted a few pumpkin rows for fun in 1999, and opened to the public in the fall of 2000. Three generations live on the farm, and about 22 relatives help in season. Hayrides, a corn maze, an animal barn, and the Tennessee slip and slide sit beside a country store stocked with jams, jellies, and honey. The food depot serves BBQ, hamburgers, pumpkin fudge, and funnel cakes. An activities wristband is separate from shopping, so you can browse pumpkins and the store without one.

Our take: Skip the wristband if you only want a pumpkin and country-store treats, and come Saturday morning when the farm is open longest.

Parking

No pets allowed. Service dogs must be identified with a vest or tag.

Good to know

Thursday and Friday 2pm-6pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday noon-6pm. Activity wristbands sold at the farm; cash or credit accepted.
