About this event
The Hamilton County Fair sets up on the 2,100-acre McDonald Farm, with a historic home tour of the McDonald Family Farm included in the visit. Lumberjack shows, an outlaw rodeo, pig races, and amusement rides share the property with agricultural exhibits, a cornhole tournament, and crafts in the Home Center. Live country music includes local acts, roving artists and stilt walkers move through the crowd, and a fireworks finale is set to music of America. Pie-eating contests and fairground food classics cover the eating. The fair is built around Hamilton County history, heritage, and tradition.
Our take: Tour the McDonald family home, then catch the outlaw rodeo or a lumberjack show before the fireworks finale.
Parking
Parking is on site. Service animals are welcome; pets should stay home.
