Bowen's Wharf Seafood Festival

The Bowen's Wharf Seafood Festival brings Newport back to the waterfront after the summer rush for two days of seafood, live music and family fun on the historic wharf. Neighboring restaurants and fishermen's associations serve fish tacos, lobster rolls, stuffies, chowder, fried calamari, clams and oysters, plus signature cocktails, cold beer, options for landlubbers and kids, fresh donuts, kettle corn and chocolate-covered fruit. Folk, surf rock and blues bands play continuously, café-style seating is spread across the wharf, and part of the festival bar proceeds benefit Child & Family.
