About this event

Kennywood Holiday Lights turns the West Mifflin amusement park into a winter wonderland of millions of lights, a Pittsburgh holiday tradition that pairs light trails with rides. Classic attractions such as Noah's Ark, Kiddieland and Thomas Town get a holiday spin, the Merry-Go-Round turns against a backdrop of glimmering lights, and model train displays and Santa photos fill out the park. At the tree lighting ceremony, what's billed as the tallest tree in the state lights up to caroling from choir groups and readings by local celebrities.

Our take: Snack your way around the park: fried cheesecake, s'mores and doughnuts are on the stands, and the beer garden is there for the grown-ups.
