About this event
Dickens of a Christmas is a family-oriented Christmas celebration in Downtown Ebensburg, based on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Many vendors and other participants are clad in period costume, and the borough invites visitors to enjoy an old-fashioned Christmas weekend with Ebensburg as host. Ebensburg, the seat of Cambria County, sits on a plateau along the eastern fringe of the Laurel Hill Ridge, 19 miles north of Johnstown and 24 miles west of Altoona. Come ready for a costume-filled downtown weekend rather than a single ceremony.
