About this event

Red Earth FallFest is a community day of Indigenous arts and culture, held at Scissortail Park in downtown Oklahoma City. The park holds a Native art market, room to watch the Youth Powwow, and open green space plus a playground. Guests can shop artists in jewelry, beadwork, pottery, painting, textiles, fashion, and other forms, catch food trucks, and visit the Scissortail Park Farmers Market in the morning before Grand Entry. Dance categories include Traditional, Fancy, Fancy Shawl, Jingle, Grass, Straight, Cloth, Buckskin, and Tiny Tots.

Our take: Come for the morning farmers market, then stay through Grand Entry so the Youth Powwow is not an afterthought.

Parking

Open to the public at Scissortail Park in downtown Oklahoma City.

Good to know

Alcohol is not permitted. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged. Farmers market 9 am-noon; Grand Entry and Youth Powwow at noon; event concludes at 5 pm.
