About this event
Lights On Broadway is the holiday open house of historic Automobile Alley, part of Downtown in December, the downtown Oklahoma City season that began in 2002 with a handful of events and now counts more than 30 events and attractions. On two Saturday evenings, the district's shops and restaurants show off buzz-worthy window displays alongside a stunning light display, with pop-up activities, special promotions and giveaways. Sidewalk programming brings live music, balloon art, performances, free caricatures and face painting, and as a nod to the district's automobile history, Santa poses for photos with his 1929 Mercedes-Benz.
Our take: Get there at the start, since Santa and his 1929 Mercedes are only on hand for the first couple of hours.
