About this event
ArtFest, sponsored by the University of Mount Union and the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce, brings about 50 artists to vendor booths around the Campus Lakes with original work in watercolor, oil, ceramics, fine crafts, photography, jewelry, printmaking and more, both on display and for sale. Merchants also sell vintage items, plants, T-shirts and mugs. Many of the artists give live demonstrations at their booths, live music plays in the amphitheater, and the day coincides with Homecoming and Alumni Weekend, Family Day and a Mount Union football game.
Our take: Lunch is covered by the Carnation City Food Truck Rally, which runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the same area.
