About this event

Cuyahoga Valley Farmers Market is held in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It registered as a 501(c)(3) in 2022 to carry on the Countryside Market tradition. Summer Saturdays use Howe Meadow at 4040 Riverview Road in Peninsula, then winter Saturdays shift to Old Trail School at 2315 Ira Road in Akron. Every vendor is from within a 100-mile radius. Stalls carry ethically raised meat and eggs, freshly ground grains, locally grown flowers, seasonal produce, and vegan and gluten-free options, and programs include yoga at the market and a zero-waste effort.

Our take: Go in summer if you want Howe Meadow inside the national park; winter shoppers should head to Old Trail School in Akron instead.

Good to know

Open rain or shine, Saturdays 9am-12pm. Winter market closed Nov. 28, Dec. 26, and Jan. 2.
