About this event
The Fall Festival of Leaves in Bainbridge grew out of plans by the town's Lions Club, which wanted to showcase the natural attractions around the area, once roamed by the Mound Builders and known as "The Valley of the Kings," a history the Seip Mound, Kilvert Mound and Baum Village sites still attest to. The festival includes a queens pageant, arts, crafts, entertainment, a flea market, midways, parades, an antique tractor show, a log sawing contest, an antique and classic car show and a 5K run.
Our take: Take a break from downtown and drive one of the four self-guided "Skyline Drives" the festival maps out around Bainbridge.
Parking
Parking is available in public lots, on surrounding streets and in private lots, where some organizations charge a small fee for local causes. All downtown spaces are reserved for handicap parking during the festival.
Good to know
Pets are not permitted; only service animals as defined by the ADA are allowed.
