About this event
The Ohio Statehouse Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting fills the atrium with an indoor tree lighting featuring Santa, then opens into a festival of dancers, choirs, mascots, and K9 demos. Capitol Square’s indoor setting makes it a weather-proof kickoff compared with outdoor plaza lightings. Public tours and museum spaces sit steps away for a fuller Statehouse visit. Arrive early for an atrium sightline and stay for the festival acts after the lights.
Our take: Combine the lighting with a quick self-guided Museum pass so kids burn energy between performances.
