About this event
WinterLand is how Downtown Cleveland celebrates the holidays, lighting up Public Square and Voinovich Park all season. The kickoff on Small Business Saturday has been a staple of Clevelanders' holiday traditions for nearly 40 years and draws tens of thousands of visitors for ice skating, holiday performances and marshmallow roasting. The 50-foot tree is the centerpiece, and during the kickoff it lights up every half hour.
Our take: Since the tree lights every half hour, you can skip the crush around one countdown and time your visit around dinner downtown.
