About this event
Spooktacular turns Seneca Park Zoo into an evening of Halloween fun for families in costume. A Trick-or-Treat Trail runs from the snow leopards to the polar bears, and the Penguin Tent becomes a Craft & Game Cave. Guests can meet creepy crawly animal ambassadors, explore real animal bones in the Bones Graveyard, test their nerve at the Mystery Feely Boxes and watch expert carver Nick Stoller at work at the Trailside Café.
Our take: Go Friday or Saturday for the extras: the Buggie Boogie Band plays the Pavilion at 6 p.m., the Wild Skills Showdown follows at 7, and Kat the Mermaid tells stories in the Rocky Coast Gallery.
