Gateways Fall Festival

Gateways Music Festival's Fall Festival spends four days in Rochester celebrating Black artistry in classical music, from the concert hall to the sanctuary and from classical repertoire to jazz and soul. It opens with a Hatch Recital Hall program honoring violist George Taylor's 40 years at Eastman and closes with string players from the Young Musicians Institute. In between come Shana Tucker's ChamberSoul, a Ric'key Pageot piano recital spanning three centuries of Black composers, SANCTUARY: A Celebration of Black Sacred Music, and Matthew D. Morrison's BLACKSOUND.
