About this event
Hay Day Fall Festival at the John Hay Estate at The Fells in Newbury is a family day of old-fashioned games, wagon rides, a magic show, a petting zoo, and live music. Children can take on art projects and face painting, build a fairy house in the Fairy Village, and watch beekeeping and crafter demonstrations among local vendors. Ice cream and other food are sold on site. Nature trails, exhibits, and art installations stay open, and a historic tour of the Main House and gardens is there if you would rather sit on the Veranda and picture a quieter life.
Our take: Save room for ice cream after the wagon ride and petting zoo, and still leave time for the Main House tour.
