About this event
The Lancaster County Super Fair calls itself Nebraska's largest county fair and packs 10 days at the Sandhills Global Event Center, 4100 N 84th Street in Lincoln. Expect exhibits, competitions, live music, and grandstand events such as a demo derby and bull riding, plus a midway of rides, games, and foods on a stick. Great American Ribfest brings barbecue from across the country and Nebraska, with live music, cold beer, and cooking demonstrations. A music series plays all 10 nights in the beer garden. The Lancaster County Agricultural Society, a nonprofit, puts the fair on.
Our take: Time the visit for Great American Ribfest if barbecue is the goal, then stay for the beer-garden music.
