About this event
The North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival returns to Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary for its eleventh year with all-new artisan lantern displays, nightly cultural performances, and a floating Symphony Lake piece across a seven-week winter season. Larger-than-life lanterns turn the amphitheatre grounds into a walk-through night garden rather than a stage-only show. The long calendar lets you pick a clear evening instead of one crowded opening night. Dress for outdoor night walking and check Know Before You Go for parking and weather notes.
Our take: Weeknight tickets often mean shorter entry lines than Friday and Saturday peak nights.
Parking
About 1500 free amphitheatre spaces; preferred parking available
Good to know
Daily 6pm-10pm (closed Christmas Day; holiday hours may vary; Twilight Session from 4:30pm)
