About this event
Cruisin' the Coast began in 1996 as a small festival for antique, classic, and hot rod vehicles and music from past decades. The first event drew 374 cars. It is now billed as America's largest classic car festival and Mississippi's largest special event, with more than 10,000 vintage vehicles on a scenic 30-mile beachside highway. The cruise stops in Bay St. Louis, Biloxi, D'Iberville, Gulfport, Pass Christian, Ocean Springs, and Pascagoula. The week mixes exhibitions, live music, parades, swap meets, vendor booths, a car raffle, and a Salute to Veterans, while casino resorts host themed parties.
Our take: Book a casino resort early if you want to stay near the cruise route, then split the week between the beachside drive and the swap meets.
