About this event
ValleyScare takes over Valleyfair in Shakopee after dark with what it bills as the Twin Cities' largest Halloween event, separately ticketed from a regular park day. Haunted mazes are included: Berserkers Valkyries' Vengeance, Cryptidland, Mr. Cleaver's Bloodshed, The Chateau's seven deadly scares, and Undertakers. Scare zones such as Hemlock's Coven, Blood on the Boundary Waters, CarnEVIL, and Signal Zero put roaming creatures on the paths. Shows include The Awakening, Hell on Wheels, Black Widow, Hide and Seek, and Dragons Fire Theater. Popular rides run at night. Seasonal food, drinks, and merch fill the breaks. The event is intense, and parental discretion is advised for younger guests.
Our take: Buy it as its own night ticket and use parental discretion if younger guests are coming.
Good to know
Friday and Saturday nights, 7pm-11:59pm. Parental discretion advised. Haunted mazes included with ValleyScare admission.
