About this event
Just southwest of Park Rapids, Carters' Farm pairs the cozy feel of a pumpkin patch and corn maze with the energy of an autumn jamboree. Each season revolves around a historical theme that shapes both the maze and the fan-favorite wagon ride drama, a play in the woods with live actors; past themes include King Arthur (2021), the Wild West (2022) and Pirates (2024), and the 2026 theme is Vikings. Magic shows, live music, a giant slide and duck races fill out the day, with a taco truck, kettle corn and hot drinks on hand.
Our take: Save room for the caramel apples and mini donuts from the local food vendors, a fitting finish after the wagon drama.
Good to know
Saturdays 10am–5pm, Sundays noon–5pm. No ATM; bring cash for food vendors. Leashed dogs welcome. Farm is handicap accessible; the wagon ride is not.
