South Lansing Farmers Market

South Lansing Farmers Market sets up in the Feeders Pet Supply parking lot at 5016 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., at the corner of Jolly and S. MLK. It is built for buying fresh, affordable food straight from local growers, and the site is fully accessible, with on-site parking and a CATA bus stop. Stalls run from seasonal produce and pastured beef, chicken, and pork to smoked cheeses, elderberry syrup, sea moss smoothies, sourdough, and natural pet snacks. The food court covers Mexican, Chinese, Lebanese, and soul food, plus frozen treats. Eligible vendors take EBT, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC Produce Connection, and Senior Market Fresh.

Our take: Eat at the food court, Mexican, Chinese, Lebanese, or soul food, then shop the produce so you are not carrying a hot meal through the stalls.
