About this event
The East Lansing Farmers Market is a growers-only market in the open-air setting of Valley Court Park, steps from the MSU campus and downtown East Lansing. It made its debut in 2009 and has drawn an estimated 1,000 visitors to the park on market days. What sets it apart is the rule that every item is 100 percent homegrown: vendors must grow the produce or make the products themselves. Bags fill with Michigan vegetables, fruit, artisan bread, cheese, meat, coffee, maple syrup, honey, and flowers. Bridge card shoppers get a Double Up Food Bucks match on Michigan-grown fruit and vegetables.

Parking
Animals are not permitted in the market area except certified service animals.
