About this event
Wachusett Mountain's AppleFest spreads over two weekends of apple treats and fall foliage at the Princeton ski area. Red Apple Farm brings hot cider, fresh cider donuts and apple soda, O'Brien's Patio Bar pours spiked apple cider slushies, and local breweries bring pumpkin ale, cider and IPAs. Live music, daily magic and circus shows, contests and roaming characters run all weekend, food trucks serve everything from egg rolls to caramel corn, and a crafters market of more than forty booths sells jam and jewelry. The Skyride climbs to the summit for a 360-degree view of the valley.
Our take: Grab a spiked apple cider slushie at O'Brien's Patio Bar, then a cider donut from Red Apple Farm.
Parking
Free parking. The Ski Train can shuttle visitors to and from nearby Wachusett Station.
Good to know
10 a.m.–5 p.m. daily. Day-of tickets $18 adults, $13 juniors; children 5 and under free. No dogs (except service animals) or coolers; lawn chairs welcome. Rain or shine.
