About this event
Costumed pets take over a Salem Main Streets parade, one of the lighter set pieces inside Haunted Happenings. Creative competition is the hook: pets line up in costume for spectators. The parade sits in a citywide stretch that also includes the Chamber's Grand Parade from Shetland Park through downtown to Salem Common and a Halloween-night drone show over the North River. This morning belongs to the animals.
Our take: Stand along the route early if you want a clear view of the costumes before the line packs in.
