About this event
The State Fair of Louisiana in Shreveport promises exhilarating rides, treats and entertainment, with a carnival midway, live music, free attractions and the state's largest livestock shows running through all three weeks. Animals can also be found in the fair's zoo area every day, and the fair hosts the LRCA Finals Rodeo, scholarship programs, and competitive events and exhibits. The fair is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Good to know
11 a.m.–9 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; closed Monday and Tuesday. Gates and ticket sales close 30 minutes before closing. Scooter rental $60 a day; wheelchairs, strollers and wagons $20 a day.
