About this event

Fright Trail in Scott is a self-guided walk through 20 acres of woods, and it is not a haunted house. Named figures on the trails include the Crowley Strangler, the Demented from Duson, the Butcher from Breaux Bridge, and the Psycho from Scott, along with a voodoo witch, zombies, and the Haunted Dungeon, Septic Sewer, and Twisty Bus. A trip takes about 35 minutes, though the operators say it depends on how fast you run. Water, soft drinks, snacks, glow products, and T-shirts are sold on site. Buy tickets at one of the two box-office windows, since nothing is sold online.

Our take: Bring cash, because tickets are sold only at the two box-office windows and the night is cash only.

Parking

Cash only. Double teller ATMs on site. No sandals, open-toe shoes, or weapons. Not recommended if faint of heart, pregnant, or with a heart condition. Recommended ages 8 and up.

Good to know

Thursday and Friday nights; Saturday nights are Frights Without Lights. All tickets purchased on location.
