About this event
The Louisiana Pumpkin Festival at CM Farms centers on a 12-acre maze and more than 50 farm attractions, among them zip lines, a jumping pillow, a corn barn, wagon rides, and friendly farm animals. Live music fills an afternoon stretch, and the kitchen serves burgers, nachos, footlong corn dogs, pizza, kettle corn, funnel cakes, and sugared mini donuts. A not-so-spooky carnival adds costume trick-or-treating around the farm, and a hometown-heroes weekend brings equipment demonstrations from local deputies, fire crews, ambulance teams, and utility linemen. Christmas on the Farm later adds photos with Santa, the Grinch, and Cindy Lou Who in WhoVille, plus a specialty shake, hot cocoa, cookies, and fudge. Lose time in the maze before the zip line, and save the sweet shop for after.
Our take: Spend time in the 12-acre maze before the zip lines, and save sweets for after.
