About this event
The Joliet City Center Partnership's Light Up the Holidays Festival & Parade fills downtown Joliet with an afternoon of holiday fun on the Friday after Thanksgiving, capped by a parade along the downtown route. Details for each year's festival are announced closer to the event.
Our take: The festival leans on downtown restaurants rather than food vendors, so plan a lunch stop at one of the downtown restaurants.
Parking
No designated event parking; spaces are first come, first served and parade staging areas are closed.
