About this event

Shindig Farms in the Treasure Valley calls its straw maze Idaho's largest, with 8-foot walls that take about 30 to 45 minutes and a stop to learn uses of straw. A wagon hayride included with general admission runs to a pumpkin patch of more than 15 varieties, and those rides close at dark. A 100-foot zipline, giant slide, corn pit, straw pyramid, and jump pad are in general admission. A mechanical bull, swing ride, corn cannon, and axe throwing need extra tickets. On select Friday and Saturday nights the maze is haunted, with a separate ticket and a late last-call. The farm is closed Sundays.

Our take: Go before dark if you want the pumpkin patch and wagon ride, since both close at dark and are not offered during haunted hours.

Good to know

Closed Sundays. On haunted Fridays and Saturdays in October the daytime maze closes at 6 pm and the haunt starts at 8 pm.
