About this event
Bloomsbury Farm in Atkins has six generations of farming history; Dave Petersen, the fifth generation, and his wife Karen started the agritourism business in 1995, and their daughters help run it. The Iowa Fall Festival brings pumpkin picking, a corn maze and farm animals to the working farm, which hosts thousands of Eastern Iowans each year.
Our take: It's about 10 minutes west of Cedar Rapids and 40 minutes from Iowa City, an easy half-day trip from either.
