About this event

Taste of Soul Atlanta is a free citywide festival in West Downtown, across from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, celebrating soul and Southern food, live music, art and kids' events in what organizers call the heart of America's Soul Food Capital. Visitors can stand or bring lawn chairs to catch rising artists on the Phoenix Sound Stage, browse the Open Air Taste & Market, or buy passes to the Soul in the City Concert, with national headliners in a private area by the main stage. The weekend also includes a Cocktail & Wine Festival showcasing African American wine and cocktail makers.

Our take: Take MARTA: the entrance at Northside Dr. and MLK Jr. Dr. is a three-minute walk from Vine City station on the West line.

Parking

Bike valet on site. Paid parking is available around the festival, about a block's walk away; drivers should carpool and park only in clearly marked areas.

Good to know

Noon–9 p.m. both days. Entry is free with free registration; Soul in the City Concert passes are sold separately.
