About this event
The Springfield Fall Festival is a one-day event presented by the City of Springfield, which promises excellent food vendors, first class live entertainment, activities for the whole family and a unique variety of vendors that draw visitors from all over the Southeast. The evening concerts are free, with local artists in the afternoon and Diamond Rio headlining, following past lineups that featured Mark Chesnutt, Lonestar and Joe Diffie. Inflatable slides, bounce houses and an obstacle course are set up next to the Mars Theatre, and organizers say the festival has attracted thousands of people each year.
Our take: Stay for the free evening concerts, with Diamond Rio taking the stage at 8 p.m.
