About this event
The Savannah Lighted Boat Parade sends more than 30 holiday-lit boats along the Savannah River, looping twice between Eastern Wharf and the Talmadge Bridge so crowds along River Street get two chances to see each one. Savannah's Waterfront organizes the evening, which centers on The Park at Eastern Wharf. The river, the historic waterfront and the lit boats together make it one of the city's prettiest holiday nights.
Our take: Park in the Eastern Wharf garage on Passage Way to be steps from the park at the parade's eastern turn.
Parking
Garages at Eastern Wharf (301 Passage Way) and Plant Riverside (500 W. River St.) plus city and private lots on River Street; cards only, special-event rates may apply.
