About this event

Downtown Lakeland's historic Lake Mirror Promenade hosts the Lake Mirror Classic, a weekend built around a top-level Concours d'Elegance with rolling works of art from leading collectors and museums; the 2026 event was the 27th, and 2025 best-in-show honors went to a 1966 Alan Mann Lightweight Ford GT40 and a 1930 Duesenberg Model J. Vintage wooden boats and Amphicars take to the lake itself. The weekend also brings a hot rod evening under the lights, a downtown show of more than 450 vehicles, and a Sunday road tour that follows clues, isn't a race and welcomes any vehicle. Entrant fees support Lakeland and Polk County charities.

Our take: Come Friday evening to see the hot rods around the lit-up lake, then return Saturday for the Concours and the downtown show.
