About this event
Bridgeville Apple-Scrapple Festival fills town with live entertainment, hundreds of crafters and vendors, and a food court built around apples and scrapple. The bandstand hosts a kids apple toss, the Little Miss Apple Scrapple pageant, a Friday night street dance, and an invitational scrapple sling. Other stops include an apple baking contest at Union Methodist Church, a ladies skillet toss, a car show on Railroad Avenue, a kids zone, the Bridgeville Historical Society Museum, a quilt display at St. Mary's, and a schoolhouse craft show at Woodbridge Middle School. A hometown carnival night is set on Railroad Avenue ahead of the main festival days.
Our take: Catch the invitational scrapple sling at the bandstand, then the ladies skillet toss at the Union Methodist Church lot.
Parking
Bus service and handicap accessible. No pets or unauthorized motor vehicles allowed.
Good to know
Friday opens at 4 pm; Saturday opens at 9 am. Bandstand, carnival, and food court close at 10 pm Friday and 9:30 pm Saturday.
