About this event
The Great Pumpkin Festival, sponsored by the Putnam Business Association, fills Main Street in Putnam with more than 80 arts and crafts vendors, live music, inflatables and children's activities. Special pumpkin menus, a scarecrow display along the streets and a giant pumpkin round out the day. The Tackle the Trail Marathon is held the same day.
Our take: Walk the downtown streets to see the scarecrows that individuals and businesses decorate for Putnam's Scarecrow Contest.
Parking
Free parking is located all around town.
Good to know
The festival runs 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Admission is free.
