About this event
Rocky Mountain Women's Film began in 1987 with two women and an idea on the drive back from the Telluride Film Festival, and it calls itself the longest-running women's film festival in North America. Filmmakers and audiences gather in Colorado Springs for documentary, narrative, short, and animated films, plus post-film talks and filmmaker forums. A Virtual Encore follows the weekend for people who want to keep watching from home. Box lunches can be pre-ordered for the forums, and community screenings lead up to the festival.
Our take: Pre-order a box lunch if you plan to stay for the filmmaker forums instead of leaving between screenings.
Good to know
Virtual Encore is set for October 22-25.
