About this event
The YMCA Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning 5K plus a Kids' Tiny Trot, now in its 29th year, that regularly draws over 4,000 runners and walkers. Proceeds support YMCA help for local families, and leashed dogs can run with a registered human. The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region hosts this Briargate tradition.
Our take: Pick the Kids' Tiny Trot if you want a short family start, or the 5K if you want the full Thanksgiving morning run—and leashed dogs are welcome with a registered human.
