About this event
San Diego Made, a woman-owned business that has run local markets since 2014, calls its Holiday Market the city's original shop-small event. More than 130 curated local makers set up outdoors on Preble Field at NTC Park in Liberty Station, selling handmade goods, vintage, art, apparel, small-batch packaged food and gifts. Food trucks, live music, a coffee and bar setup, interactive art, workshops, photo booths and kids' activities fill out the day, and an on-site scavenger hunt can earn you a gift with purchase.
Our take: Do a full lap of the booths first, then come back for the scavenger hunt once you know which makers you want to buy from.
Parking
Free parking lots around Liberty Station; space can be limited, so ride sharing is encouraged.
