Palm Springs Air Museum Halloween Chili Cook-Off and Car Show

The Palm Springs Air Museum's Halloween Chili Cook-Off and Car Show mixes classic cars, chili and costumes at a museum known for one of the world's largest collections of flyable World War II aircraft. Museum volunteers cook the chili from their own secret recipes, and the Palm Springs Cruisin' Association backs the car show. Kids are encouraged to come in Halloween costume, though no weapons are allowed. Between tastings, step into the air-conditioned hangars, where more than 75 aircraft and helicopters sit with few ropes in the way.
