Pomona Swap Meet & Classic Car Show

The Pomona Swap Meet and Classic Car Show is a one-day automotive meet at Fairplex in Pomona, presented by PSM Events, Inc. Since 1975, hundreds of thousands of classic cars and trucks have passed through the gates. The organizers call it the West Coast's largest antique auto, Corvette, Porsche, street rod, and Volkswagen swap meet and classic car show, and they run seven giant meets a year. The pitch on site is more than 30,000 people and 15 miles of parts, accessories, automobilia, and classic cars. A car corral lets sellers park in the middle of the action. Spectators use Fairplex Gate 17 at 1801 W McKinley Ave. The meet runs rain or shine.

Our take: Arrive early if you want first look at parts and the car corral; the hosts say that is when the best swapping happens.
