About this event
Boo at the Zoo, presented by One AZ Credit Union, turns Reid Park Zoo into a not-too-frightful family Halloween evening. Kids trick-or-treat at candy tables around the zoo, meet characters from princesses and pirates to superheroes, laugh through silly skeleton scenes and play games in the Fall Festival Zone, and the Pumpkin Patch is set up for costume photos. Entry is by timed ticket bought in advance, and proceeds support animal care, operations and education programs at the zoo.
Our take: Families who need a calmer visit should pick Sensory Night, which has no flashing lights or loud music and a limited number of guests.
Parking
Timed-entry tickets, sold in advance: $16 adults and seniors, $14 ages 2–14, under 2 free; members save $2. Free lot north of the zoo entrance, 3400 E. Zoo Court in Reid Park.
