About this event
Graham County Fair in Safford gathers the Gila Valley community about two hours east of Tucson. Fairgrounds at 527 E Armory Road sit south of town on the east side of U.S. Highway 191. Livestock judging covers beef, swine, and sheep, and the Graham County Horse Show is open to junior, senior, open, and senior citizen riders, from halter classes to reining, trail, and the Bareback Dollar. Frazier Shows supplies the carnival rides. A parade and school programs round out the grounds.
Our take: Get to the horse show early if you want to enter, since on-site entries are taken until 7:30 a.m. the day of the show.
Parking
Cash only at the gate. Hand stamp for re-entry. ATMs on site.

Fairgrounds Thursday 5-11 p.m., Friday noon-11 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-11 p.m., Sunday noon-5 p.m. Carnival hours differ by day.
