About this event
Pepper Place Farmers Market began in the summer of 2000 as a 501(c)(3) with a mission to help farming families across Alabama, and it still connects those producers with shoppers in the Birmingham area. It is billed as Alabama Grown, Raised, and Made, and as a state-certified farmers market, open rain or shine. A midweek mini market is set to reopen in 2027. Seasonal events include live music, live demos, wellness days, and Women in Food Month, and SNAP cards are accepted. The standing promise is fresh, healthy food plus a meeting place for the local economy.
