Orange Beach Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Parade

Orange Beach's own Mardi Gras parade rolls on Fat Tuesday afternoon, with nearly 100 units usually taking part. Expect the Orange Beach High School band and cheerleaders alongside local groups like Bon Temps Cabrix, Treasures of the Isle, Sirens of the Sea, Order of Disorder, Order of Aurora, Maidens in Pink Stilettos, the Mystics of Pleasure and The Marshals. The route follows Perdido Beach Boulevard east from the traffic signal at Wolf Bay Lodge to Highway 161, just past the Publix shopping center.

Our take: As a daytime parade, it's a good pick for families with young kids who want Mardi Gras without a late night.
