About this event
The Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show flies over Sherman Field at Naval Air Station Pensacola. The free show runs through the day with the Blue Angels as the closing act, and the FAA lists USAF F-16 Viper and F-35A Lightning II demonstrations in the lineup. General admission seating is open blanket seating on paved areas, and the field is under open sky.
Our take: The National Naval Aviation Museum, home to more than 150 restored aircraft, makes a natural add-on to the show.
Parking
Free; security directs cars to lots, with shuttles from overflow lots. Handicap lot west of the tarmac.
Good to know
Gates 8 a.m.; show begins 9:30 a.m.; Blue Angels fly around 2 p.m. Admission and parking free; reserved seating sold. REAL ID-compliant identification required to enter the base.
